For the 2021-22 academic year, a process of merit-based admission has been formed for admission in public varsities, which is called GST admission test. Twenty-two public varsities and universities of science and technology are expected to conduct admission tests in the branch system using the 100-mark MCQ method and short questions.
The GST has held a meeting of the University Council of Vice-Chancellors’ Association held in the capital on April 8 to determine the possible dates for GST admission Exam 2022 in different universities. Meanwhile, all the vice-chancellors of the public varsity have informed through their meeting that this year’s cluster examination will be held through branch system.
Guccho admission Circular 2022
Universities have introduced cluster admission test systems for the first year undergraduate admissions of 22 general and science and technology universities. Authorities say the test will be completed by next September. The probable dates for the three exams have been fixed on September 3, 10 and 16. The Department of Science, Humanities and Business Education will complete the group exams, the authorities said.
From June 1 to June 10, the date for downloading the Admit Card for the GST Admission Test will be valid. Students participating in the GST Admission Circular should download the GST Admission Test Admit Card within the stipulated time. GST admission test will start at 12 noon and will end at 1 pm.
Eligibility for GST Admission Test 2022
Students who have passed SSC / equivalent in 2018 and 2019 and HSC / equivalent in 2020 and 2021 will be able to apply online for the group admission test. The qualifications of the examinees themselves were described:
- A-Unit (Science Department)
Applicants who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations must have a total GPA of 8 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and HSC examinations (including 4th subject).
- B-Unit (Humanities)
Applicants who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations must have a total GPA of 8 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and HSC examinations (including 4th subject).
- C-Unit (Business Education Department)
Applicants who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations should have a total GPA of 6.50 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and HSC examinations.
GST Admission Test Marks Distribution
The total number of mark gst admission test 2022 will be 100. The cluster admission test will have questions in written form (MCQ). The value of each question will be numbered 1. Bengali, English and ICT subjects will be compulsory for the students of each department. They will be examined by combining other subjects of the department with the subjects required from all other departments except the humanities department.
